Oscars Minisode

In light of the most recent big movie event of the year, I decided to put together a “minisode” (that’s honestly not even that mini) of my takes on this years Oscars ceremony – the 94th Academy Awards in all its glitz, glamour and gore???

Obviously, I give my thoughts like everyone else on the Will Smith / Chris Rock showdown, but I also wanted to bring focus to the other things overshadowed: the red carpet looks, the hosts and ceremony shticks, the wins & losses and the business of ratings and what they can do about it!

I honestly think Lady Gaga should host the Oscars next year. It's clear from her interactions with Liza Minnelli (and others over the years) that she has great respect for legacy, which is what the Oscars need more of, and she obviously knows how to work a crowd.
